Hot summer is coming! How will you style your hair to skip warm air maximumly? Here I would like to share a fantastic bun for your reference. To be not out of fashion, this hairdo combines fishtail braid, which has been being all the rage, with stunning bun, making it both stylish and cool.
This fishtail wrapped updo is so easy if you can create a fishtail braid, and it only takes you a few minutes to complete the styling. It is an awesome hairstyle, looking trendy and chic, and thicker than your actual hair look.
What You Need:
- 1 donut bun
- 4 clear elastics
- 2 alligator clips
- Bobby pins
Step 1: Start with separating a big section of front hair. First, create a side part. Then, with the large side, separate off a big section hair from the front down to the ear. Secure the back section of hair using an alligator clip.
Step 2: Create a fishtail braid. Divide the front section into two parts, cross small sections underneath to the opposite side while adding hair from the divided part into the braid. Click for detailed tutorial of fishtail braid.
Step 3: Plait a regular fishtail braid. Finish braiding the section down into a regular fishtail braid after all of the hair is brought into the braid.
Step 4: Pull the braid to make it fuller. Hold the end of the braid and lightly pull the sides of the braid to loosen it and make it a fuller braid. Secure the braid with a clear elastic.
Step 5: Repeat the Step 2, 3 and 4, but with hair on the other side.
Step 6: Gather the remaining hair into a low ponytail. Secure it with a clear elastic.
Step 7: Take a hair donut, and pull your hair through the hole of it.
Step 8: Spread your hair around the donut and wrap an elastic around the base of the bun.
Step 9: Twist the hair beyond the donut and wrap it toward the base of the bun.
Step 10: Wrap the hair ends around the base of the bun and pin to secure.
Step 11: Take the braid from the large side and wrap it over and around the base of bun.
Step 12: Fix the braid against your head with some bobby pins.
Step 13: Repeat wrapping with the other braid.
Step 14: Pin the braid down.
Step 15: Finish with hairspray to add shine and reduce flyaways.
